OMAHA, NEBRASKA — The Michigan baseball team had a golden opportunity to punch their ticket to the college world series finals if they could take down Texas tech for a second time. The red raiders would have to beat Michigan twice if they wanted to move on.

The Wolverines would not let up either. They added seven more runs including a home run from tigers draft pick Jimmy Kerr.
Michigan wins 15 to 3. They move on to the college world series final. They will face either Vanderbilt or Louisville.
