Posted

The Michigan teenager who earlier this year admitted to planning an attack on his school has been expelled.

WOOD-TV reports the decision was made at the Monday night meeting of the Paw Paw Public Schools Board of Education.

Authorities have said the boy's family alerted authorities to the threat back in March. Investigators found guns, ammunition and pipe bomb materials at his home. Classes were canceled the next day as a precaution.

A judge sentenced the teen to undergo mental health treatment.
