As the holiday season quickly approaches, food pantries have begun stepping up collection efforts.
The Stuff the Blue Goose Food Drive was held at the First Presbyterian Church in Dimondale Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police were on hand with patrol cars to help out.
Non-perishable food items and canned goods were collected and added to the church’s pantry.
