LANSING, Mich. — On the day that cancer activist Purdue super fan Tyler Trent was laid to rest, Michigan state basketball honored his memory before they took on Purdue.
The players, coaches, and the student section took part in creating and signing a #TylerStrong banner that the students waved before the game began.
Trent raised over $100,000 for cancer research before passing away on New Year’s Day at 20 years old.
