Michigan schools make the grade in U.S. News and World Report ranking

LANSING, Mich. — U.S. News and World Report has ranked four Michigan high schools, including a grand rapids school, in the top 100 nationwide.

The U.S. News best high schools rankings include data on more than 23,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

More than 17,000 schools were ranked on factors based on the school's performance on state assessments and how well the school prepare its students for college.

The international academy of Macomb in Clinton Township made it into the top ten at number eight.

City Middle High School in Grand Rapids was listed at 38.

The International Academy in Bloomfield Hills ranked 42.

And Washtenaw International High School in Ypsilanti made it on the list at 83.
