A young boy with Spina Bifida was given a great gift from robotics teams at two northern Michigan high schools.
The teams were given the task to help him get around easier with his condition.
Jeremiah Nelson is almost 2-years-old with limited mobility due to Spina Bifada.
The goal for the robotics teams was to help Jeremiah get around.
With guidance from mentors and electricians, the students hand crafted a motorized car. The car is customized specifically for Jeremiah's needs.
Central Lake sophomore Matthew Cary said it was a lot of hard work, but the reward is priceless.
Jeremiah's mom says his new car is something he will truly love.
