Michigan primary set for March 8th

Plans are underway for voting in Michigan's primary, a little more than a month away on March 8.

Ted Cruz's camp already has thousands of volunteers signed up to help in various field offices around the state.

Former Governor Jeb Bush is counting on state attorney general Bill Schuette to help him with a win here.

For the democrats, Hillary Clinton's camp is pushing for a debate in Flint. Former president Bill Clinton will be in Grand Rapids next Friday for a fundraiser, while daughter Chelsea Clinton attends a fundraiser in Birmingham.

Hundreds of people have stepped up to volunteer for Bernie Sanders here in Michigan, his campaign plans to open up offices around the state.

Time is running out for you to register to vote in the primary. Next Monday, February 8, is the last day to register to vote in the primary.

You can register at any Secretary of State office.

On the day of the primary, March 8, local school districts, and government offices will have proposals on the ballot, along with choosing a presidential candidate.
