LEXINGTON, Mich. — Police say a man got too close to open water Saturday morning at Lexington State Harbor in Lexington, Michigan after the man's truck went through the ice and sank.
The man was able to escape but went back to get something out of the truck, which then went underwater.
Luckily, another man was able to grab him out of the truck with a rope and pull him out.
The man wasn't hurt but was arrested under suspicion of being drunk.
On Sunday, authorities had to use chainsaws to cut through the ice before using trained divers and a tow truck to pull the submerged truck from the water.
