LANSING, Mich. — Tony Foster, a Police Office from Kentwood Michigan shared some videos of his daughter, 7.5 year old Skylar created of being Michigan's self-proclaimed Kids Governor.

As Tony explains, "Skylar is just a kid that pays attention to everything. To the point her teachers since kindergarten have said they can’t have adult conversations with her anywhere within ear shot."

Skylar had been hearing the governor and listening to the news a lot lately and then one day when her sister was napping Tony heard her playing Governor as he was doing dishes. He asked her what she was doing and she said pretending to be a kids Governor. Tony recorded most of the first video without her knowing.

After the first video, she watched herself and said, "that was so fun I should become the kids Governor where I pretend to be the governor and answer questions."

To date there have been 4 kids governor videos.

Skylar said she planned to resign in today's update, since she now has assigned school work to do daily. But once she heard me mention that someone from a news station asked me to send her the videos and she has decided to remain in office, at least for the time being.
