LANSING, Mich. — Gas prices across the state jumped a bit in the middle of last week and it may happen again soon.
According to AAA Michigan, gas prices in Michigan jumped 12 cents last week with a state average of $2.37 per gallon.
That's the highest average in the state this year.
AAA says oil and wholesale gasoline prices made significant gains last week, which will likely lead to higher prices at the pump.
