LANSING, Mich — A Michigan entrepreneur has a brand new solution for greasy hair.
While recently dry shampoo has been a big product for women and men to use between hair washes, those sprays and powders can often leave a chalky residue. That's why Robyn Milewski created Root Fresh Shampoo Gloves.
They're 100% cotton gloves that are saturated in all-natural products like aloe, castile soap, green tea, lemon juice, and corn starch. Milewski says she created them as a way to refresh your hair between washes, without leaving behind any build up.
"You slip a glove on and work it into your roots and your hairline," said Robyn Milewski, the owner and inventor of Root Fresh Shampoo Gloves. "So it actually cleans your hair. It removes oil, it removes product build up, and then when it dries after a couple seconds, you can style as normal and your hair is clean again."
Right now the product is only sold online at rootfreshproducts.com[rootfreshproducts.com]. But Milewski says she's in talks to have it sold in stores like Whole Foods in the future.
