Michigan doctor has been accused of over prescribing opioids

LANSING, Mich. — A top Michigan doctor has been accused of over prescribing opioids to patients.

Dr. David Neff, Michigan's chief medical director for medicaid, has received honors for helping combat the Michigan opioid crisis.

Neff is now being placed on administrative leave, however, after being accused of negligence for allegedly over prescribing and improperly prescribing opioids.
