Schools can get some help from the state's Department of Natural Resources -- to teach students about Michigan's wildlife.
The DNR offers free resources for teachers from kindergarten all the way up through high school.
They include YouTube lessons and activities on everything from Michigan's Black Bear -- to how the state manages its Elk herd.
Teachers have to sign up with the state to take advantage.
