Michigan billionaire, Dan Gilbert, wants to save Michiganders from high auto insurance rates.
The Detroit native and Chairman of Quicken Loans says he and his family of companies are ready to fund a 2020 ballot initiative that would reform Michigan's auto insurance law.
The supposed ballot initiative would lower Michigan's highest-in-the-nation auto insurance rates.
But Gilbert says he'll first be pushing state lawmakers to solve the issue themselves later this year or next year.
