Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs received $25,000 check

LANSING, Mich. — The Yellow Rose Campaign, a commitment made by the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs to put all behavioral wellness of all fire service personnel, including fire chiefs, as priority.

The campaign was kicked of at the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs' Summer Leadership Conference in 2018.

During the conference, the Owner of Belfor Sheldon Yellen made a financial commitment of $100,000 to be put toward the campaign.

The money will be used to provide training to the Michigan Fire Service through peer support training, critical incident stress training and related behavioral wellness resources.

A check of $25,000 was given to the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs to push the program forward by Belfor Friday morning at the Delta Fire Department Fire Station one located on 811 North Canal Road in Lansing.
