State health officials are looking into why people are falling mysteriously ill with lung damage and difficulty breathing.
According to the CDC there is at least 120 cases of severe lung illness in 15 different states, including Michigan.
The only connection in these cases are vape products, however health officials say they can't confirm a direct link between lung illnesses and usage of vape products.
Some patients report symptoms similar to pneumonia, such as difficulty breathing and chest pain.
Some patients are using ventilators in intensive care.
The CDC are working with authorities to figure out if an ingredient in the E-liquid or device may link the cases.
The CDC is urging doctors to collect samples of what other patients may have also been vaping.
A new lawsuit claims that e-cigarette company Juul marketed to teens despite knowing about growing evidence of health risks.
The claim was filed by a man saying his asthma worsened after using a Juul product.
In a statement Juul said the lawsuit is without merit and it will work with lawmakers to "reverse the trend in youth use."
