BELLEVILLE, Mich. — The family of a Metro-Detroit man who has been missing since Monday is pleading for his safe return.
Marcus Esper, who hasn't missed a day of work in 30 years, disappeared after heading to a storage facility in Ypsilanti.
There is no evidence he ever made it to the facility.
His phone is off, there has been no movement in his bank accounts and his pace maker is too old to track.
Marcus' sister Johanna Esper says "I'm just scared for him. he's my brother. He grew up to be such fine man and the best brother anyone can ask for and I just want him to come home."
Marcus' car was found Wednesday abandoned in a church parking lot in Belleville.
Despite a search of the area with K9s, nothing else turned up.
Officers are still investigating.
