MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Smoke shops will not be able to sell recreational marijuana.
This comes after the Meridian Township Board voted to prohibit smoke shops from selling recreational marijuana.
Meridian Township Supervisor Ron Styka said the decision was made because they needed more time to figure things out.
The township would like to have a year of experience with medical marijuana before making the decision on what they will do with the recreational use.
