MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is performing resurfacing, repairs, and installation work on I-69 Business Loop (Saginaw Highway) and Marsh Road and I-69 Business Loop at Old M-78 intersections.

The work is part of an ongoing $2.5 million safety investment to improve four intersections along I-69 Business Loop in Meridian and Bath townships in Ingham and Clinton counties.

During this work, westbound Saginaw Highway traffic will not be able to turn left onto southbound Marsh Road.

Drivers will be directed to continue past Marsh Road and use an indirect left-turn lane to loop back via eastbound Saginaw Highway and turn right onto southbound Marsh Road.

Other restrictions include:

  • No northbound or southbound Marsh Road traffic permitted through the intersection
  • No left turns from eastbound Saginaw Highway to northbound Marsh Road.

Traffic signal work will be ongoing.

Delays are expected; an alternate route is advised.

According to MDOT, the work is expected to be completed by Monday, Nov. 11.
