A memorial service is scheduled for the party store clerk killed in an armed robbery in Jackson the night before Thanksgiving.

31-year old Mehman Singh was shot to death on November 23rd while working at Keyes Log Cabin Party Store on Fourth Street in Jackson. Police say two suspects armed with a gun entered the store while a third waited outside. Singh was shot in the neck during the robbery. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police are working to catch the three suspects and released surveillance photos of those suspects Monday.

Singh arrived in the United States from India two years ago. He was well liked in the Jackson community and worked holidays and evenings to repay the moving expenses to his family.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for his funeral expenses. A memorial is set for December 7th at 10 a.m. at the House of Johnson Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation is tonight from 4-8 p.m. according to the funeral home's website.
