Monday night the City of Lansing Committee of the Whole is expected to talk about the tree removal process in the Colonial Village neighborhood.
Lansing's Board of Water and Light implemented a five-year tree trimming plan following the 2013 ice storm that blew circuits and snapped trees.
Customers in the colonial village neighborhood wanted the Board of Water and Light to remove some tree limbs away from their power lines.
However, neighbors complained the BWL went overboard and hurt the property values of their home because of the tree trimming.
The meeting will be Monday night at 5:30.
