Baby Sumayah arrived a little ahead of schedule, weighing in at 8 pounds, five ounces, and is 21 inches long.

Rincone was able to have Abdi, her husband, in the delivery room and felt very safe knowing that the doctors and nurses at Spectrum Health were taking necessary COVID-19 precautions.

She said she's looking forward to 2021 and telling her daughter all about the year they've had.

"I’m excited to do her birthday parties and just for her to have these memories and always have a story to tell; like how she was born, when she was born and whatnot," Rincone said.
