Meet the adorable first babies born at metro Detroit hospitals in 2021

(WXYZ) — Metro Detroit families have received amazingly precious gifts to start the new year!

Beautiful bundle of joy, Gia Rose Nicoletti, is the first baby born at Beaumont Health in 2021. According to the hospital, baby Gia was born at 12:42 a.m. to parents Jacob and Sara Lynn Rose Nicoletti of Gibraltar at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn.

She is a healthy 10 pounds, five ounces and 23.5 inches long.

Mom and baby are doing well, the hospital confirmed on New Year's Day.

Precious baby boy Juelz Marquis Bannerman was born at 1:48 a.m. at the Detroit Medical Center's Hutzel Women's Hospital on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

According to DMC, baby Juelz weighed in at eight pounds, three ounces and 20.5 inches long. His mother is Lametria Bannerman from Detroit.

At 3:02 a.m. Logan Mallison was born at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Oakland County, the first baby of the new year born inside a Saint Joseph Mercy Health System hospital according to St. Joseph officials.

The son of Jade and Jeff Mallison, Baby Logan weighed in at 8.5 ounces.
