MDOT resurfacing 11 miles of I-96

The Michigan Department of Transportation will be resurfacing 11 miles of I-96 in Ingham and Livingston counties.

The project will cost about $14 million dollars and will start from mile marker 52 and end at mile marker 59.

From April 1st through July 4th, major work will happen during the day and night on four select weekends. Daily work will happen overnight from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The project will begin Sunday and will be completed in November.
