LANSING, Mich. — Plans to reconstruct a heavily traveled service drive were laid out in a public meeting Thursday.
It was about Homer Street near Frandor and the plan to cut it down to two lanes to help reduce traffic accidents.
Thursday, MDOT engineers presented a proposal to remove the far-right lane from Vine to the exit ramp to improve sight distance for drivers.
Although many commuters approve the changes, they're hoping the project will extend to the Saginaw intersection in the near future.
Construction on the project is set to start next spring.
