LANSING, Mich. — More travel issues are on the horizon starting Saturday for drivers in Lansing.
MDOT crews will be removing the Sheridan Road skywalk over Old US 27.
Demolition is set to begin at 6 a.m. Saturday.
That's expected to be done at about 6 p.m. Saturday.
The skywalk will not be replaced.
The Old US 27 and Sheridan Road intersection will be closed during this removal, according to MDOT.
There are existing crosswalks both below the structure and in the northern part of the intersection.
