EAST LANSING, Mich. — A McDonald's near Michigan State's campus is closed until further notice due to a fire.
It happened at the two-story green and white McDonald's on East Grand River Avenue, near Cedar Street, just after midnight Monday.
According to firefighters, the fire started in the storage area in the back of the restaurant.
The building was full of smoke and about a dozen people inside were evacuated.
Several departments responded to the call.
No one was hurt in the fire, authorities said.
