Mayor-Elect Andy Schor has announced is transition team.
“We have a lot of work to do,” Mayor-elect Schor said. “I am grateful to these valued community leaders for dedicating their time and talent to helping ensure a smooth transition for me and my team. I look forward to their recommendations and starting to implement my vision on January 1.”
Leading the team is former Lansing State Representative and City Council Member Joan Bauer. Former Mayor David Hollister is serving as a Senior Advisor to the transition team and will work closely with Bauer.
“We’ve made some great progress in Lansing over the last decade, but I am excited for the change and energy Mayor-elect Schor brings to city hall. We still have a lot of issues to address, and I am honored to help Andy with his transition,” Bauer said.
The team will meet throughout the rest of the year and work on policy recommendations on education, economic and business development, neighborhoods and public safety and infrastructure.

Infrastructure Committee Co-Chairs: Brian Jeffries, Attorney and Former City Council Member & Dusty Fancher, Former Lansing Parks Board Member
Neighborhoods and Public Safety Committee Co-Chairs: Rina Risper, Community Advocate & Mark Alley, Former Lansing Police Chief
