The Ingham County Sheriff's Office has identified the person who died in a car crash just south of Mason.
50-year old Charles James Heckman of Mason was driving northbound on Service Road when his car went off the road, striking a concrete embankment.
Heckman died at the scene.
Deputies found his car in Sycamore Creek Tuesday afternoon.
