MASON, Mich. — Mason High School's Robotics team, the Tractor Technicians, are hosting a robotics competition.
The event includes 40 teams from across the state to participate in a number of qualifying events.
The events earn the teams ranking points.
The winner from this weekend's event will move onto the State Competition held at Saginaw Valley State University next weekend.
On March 27, Mason Public Schools (MPS) cut the ribbon to officially unveil the new Robotics Center located inside Mason High School. MPS is continuing to enhance and grow robotics at every age level and through this investment, students will have access to a state-of-the-art space to learn about robotics as well as compete in robotics competitions.
"Mason is a leader in Robotics and this new space will further enhance our offerings for students,” said Ronald Drzewicki, Ed.S., Mason Public School Superintendent. “We are grateful for the continuing support of our community."
