BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Blackman Township police are looking for a man who fired gunshots on a car in Jackson on Monday.
It happened in a Meijer parking lot around 5:24 p.m. on Airport Road.
Police say a 25-year-old man, who was in the car, was leaving the Meijer when a man unknown to him, who was wearing a ski mask, walked up to his car. The man said he was armed with a handgun.
The suspect opened fire on the car, striking it multiple times before he took off running.
The man in the car was not injured.
Witnesses on the scene were able to confirm the story with the police.
The police brought in a K-9 unit, but were unsuccessful tracking the suspect.
