Marching for women's rights in Lansing
Posted

Ahead of Mother's Day, a group of mothers and advocates for working families are urging legislators to give women a voice in policy.

Dozens took part in the 5th annual Mama's March on Wednesday. They gathered at a church before marching to the state Capitol for a rally and a stop to talk with lawmakers.

The women say they want more women involved in making policy. The Mama's March comes as the legislature considers the state's budget.
