A man with a knife tried to rob a dollar store in Lansing Saturday morning.
It happened at the Family Dollar on the 900 block of West Holmes, near MLK.
Lansing Police say the man came into the store around 10 a.m., showed a knife, and demanded money.
LPD says the safe at the store is on a time-delay, so the suspect didn't get any cash out of it before taking off on foot. Police dogs were dispatched but were unable to find the suspect. He's described as a medium build, 6'4 black male with a light complexion.
