A man will stand trial in the shootings of two people earlier this year.
37-year-old Lamon Williams was bound over on all charges Monday including two counts of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Felony Firearm.
Police say Williams shot two people inside a house in the 100 block of Randolph Street in city of Jackson on January 12, 2017 following an argument.
A 22-year-old man was shot several times and has since recovered.
A 13-year-old boy was also shot once in the back but was treated and released from the hospital.
While police were investigating the original shooting, they got a call about shots fired at a home in the 100 block of West Morrell Street. No one was hurt in the shooting but as police investigated, they found Williams inside the residence on West Morrell Street and arrested him.
He faces up to life in prison if convicted. He's currently lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $500,000 bond.
