A judge is scheduled to sentence a convicted murderer Wednesday.
Curtis Echols was found guilty of first-degree murder last month in the 2017 death of Christina Daughenbaugh.
She was found stabbed to death in a room at America's Best Value in on Ramada Drive last July.
Echols was arrested near South Bend, Indiana shortly after.
He'll get the mandatory sentence of life without the possibility of parole when he goes before Ingham County Circuit Judge Joyce Dranganchuk at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
