An Eaton County judge will sentence a man to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the brutal killing of an elderly man nearly two years ago.
A jury convicted Andrew Johnson of first-degree murder and safe breaking charges last month in the 2016 death of John Abraham Sr.
Johnson and Dymond Squires broke into Abraham's Delta Township home back in July of 2016 and killed Abraham before stealing money from his safe.
Squires pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and safe breaking charges earlier this month, both of which carry a possibility of a life in prison sentence.
But Squires will get at least 49 years behind bars when she's sentenced due to a plea deal she made with prosecutors.
