A New Jersey man is behind bars after leading police on a chase across two Mid-Michigan counties.

It started when the driver left the scene of an accident in Jackson County Tuesday night.

The driver entered Calhoun County where sheriff's deputies used spike strips to stop him on M-60 near Homer.

The man fought with deputies while being arrested. He's currently facing charges of fleeing and eluding.
