LANSING, Mich. — Jackson Police have confirmed that a 25-year-old man was shot and killed outside of Duffy's Food & Spirits in Jackson early Friday morning.
Police say the incident happened at around 1:18 a.m. Friday, March 6.
Jackson police say that when they arrived, the 25-year-old man was unresponsive and in the street.
The victim was taken by an ambulance to Henry Ford Allegiance Health, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Police say they are in the early stages of their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Aaron Grove at 517-768-8796. An anonymous tip can also be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 855-840-7867.
No arrest has been made in connection with the case and police have not yet released the victim's name.
