A mixed martial arts instructor is accused of sexually assaulting another man last week in downtown East Lansing.

According to the Lansing State Journal, an 18-year-old victim called police just before 11 a.m. saying he'd been sexually assaulted. A few minutes later an officer arrested 38-year-old Matthew Torres of Lansing.

The alleged assault happened in the 500-block of East Grand River on March 29.

Torres has worked at East Lansing Underground Martial Arts which is located in the same building where the alleged assault took place.

He's charged with third degree criminal sexual assault.
