A man is seriously hurt after swerving to miss hitting a deer and crashing into a tree.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Williamston Road between Decamp and Fitchburg roads in Bunkerhill Township.
Ingham County Sheriff deputies tell FOX 47 News the driver, in mid to late 30's, was not wearing a seatbelt. He was thrown into the back of his four-door truck.
The driver was taken to the hospital.
Williamston Road was closed down for several hours while police investigated the crash.
