A Jackson man will spend over a decade in prison after admitting he sexually assaulted children.
29-year-old Jeffrey Burgett was sentenced to 16 to 30 years in prison Tuesday.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in August.
The Jackson County Prosecutor's Office says an investigation found criminal sexual conduct that spanned over a 15-year period with multiple victims.
Prosecutors agreed to not pursue any further charges against Burgett in exchange for his plea.
