Man police linked to missing woman takes plea in other case

A man described by police as a person of interest in the disappearance of a 28-year-old woman last December has pleaded guilty to sexual assault and other charges in another case.

Thirty-year-old Floyd Galloway Jr. pleaded Tuesday in the case involving a jogger in suburban Detroit's Hines Park. Investigators say he attacked her, dragged her into woods and tried to remove her clothes but she escaped.

He's facing up to 35 years imprisonment when he's sentenced Dec. 8.

Authorities found nothing at the park during a July search for Danielle Stislicki of Farmington Hills. The investigation shifted to the park because of Galloway's arrest there.

Police say Galloway knew Stislicki, because he was a security guard where she worked.

Galloway's attorney said his client has been wrongfully linked to Stislicki.
