Man pleads guilty to armed robbery in Jackson County

 A man has admitted to robbing an employee at a bar in Jackson County in September.

34-year-old Kevin Rowe pleaded guilty to armed robbery and unlawful driving away a motor vehicle charges Tuesday.

He robbed an employee at the Korner Keg on Page Avenue in Summit Township on September 27, 2016.

Rowe took the employee's keys, cell phone, the bar's landline phone and some cash from the bar. The employee's car was found abandoned a few miles away.

Armed Robbery carries a maximum penalty of life in prison. Unlawful Driving Away a Motor Vehicle carries a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.

Rowe will be sentenced on January 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Judge John McBain's courtroom.
