A man filling up his car was killed when a woman backed up her car right into him and the gas pump.
Police say a fire sparked within seconds setting 53-year-old Michael Seyoum on fire.
This all unfolded last night at a Kalamazoo gas station.
A bystander says he was able to pull Seyoum away from the flames but it was too late.
"I just dragged him... that's the only thing I seen was his legs actually when I ran over there so I threw the gas pump off him and dragged him out," says Martinez Simpson, "When I got to him, he was actually laying like in the fire, but that was the scary part... you know, when I had to drag him up outta there. I was sliding because the gas was slippery and stuff."
Seyoum suffered severe burns and died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Police say the 74-year-old woman driving the car that backed into him has not been arrested.
