A man is in the hospital after he was shot on Lansing's south side Friday night, and police are trying to track-down the suspect who pulled the trigger.
It happened just after 11:15 Friday, August 4 at the Belmont Park Apartments off Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Police were on the scene for several hours this morning.
Officers are investigating what led up to the shooting but tell FOX 47 News the victim was shot once in the leg.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say the shooting was not random and the suspect and victim know each other.
They have not released a description of that suspect.
