A Lansing man is in the hospital after being shot while walking down the street.
The shooting happened Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Forest and Aurelius Roads.
Lansing police say the 27-year-old man was walking in that area when he was shot.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots fired. The victim is in critical but stable condition.
Police say he was the only person who was shot. They do not believe the shooting is random, police think the man was targeted.
The shooter is still on the loose.
