The Lansing Police Department said a man is in the hospital in critical condition Sunday morning following a vehicle accident along I-96.
The accident happened near the Williamston exit Saturday night.
Police tell News 10 that a man driving a motorcycle was heading northbound and a woman driving a red SUV was going southbound. The SUV tried to turn onto the entrance ramp of I-96. A preliminary investigation shows that the woman failed to yield to the motorcyclist.
The man on the motorcycle was taken to Sparrow Hospital. He is in critical condition.
The woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but did not suffer any major injuries. The crash is still under investigation and more details may be released Sunday afternoon.
