LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department is investigating a shooting that a sent a man to the hospital Sunday night.
Officers were called to the Silver Stone Townhome complex for report of a man with a gunshot wound around 11 p.m.
Lansing police found the victim inside a vehicle parked in the complex.
Preliminary investigation suggests the shooting happened at a different location. Lansing police tell News 10 the location and circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
The 29-year-old Lansing man was taken to the hospital with a single gunshot wound to his leg. His injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Lansing police tell FOX 47 the shooting is not random and there is no threat to the public.
