An Ohio man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted in the murder of a Lansing woman at an area motel.
The Lansing State Journal reports Curtis Echols was convicted on Monday of first degree murder in the 2017 death of Christina Daughenbaugh.
She was found stabbed to death in a room at America's Best Value Inn on Ramada Drive last July.
Echols was arrested near South Bend, Indiana shortly after.
He will get the mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole when he's sentenced next month.
