JACKSON, Mich. — A 25-year-old man facing sentencing in Jackson County 12th District Court managed to run out of the courtroom, get past security guards, and get outside. This happened at about 3:30 p.m.Wednesday in downtown Jackson.
Court employees were able to quickly recapture the man, and Jackson Police officers took him into custody.
Police say the man was wearing hand restraints.
No one was hurt.
Police identified him as Brandon Watley-Glaspie. He is lodged and police say he will now face an escape charge.
